i am 17 and am considering health care as a career feild.

In my mind the big issue is knowing that this is the right career for you. There are plenty of ways to be successful, so make sure you choose the right one for you. Thus, spend some time with a few doctors in your area, shadowing them around for a half day or so and asking them about the pros and cons of their career choice.
