Question:
I am 5'4 and weight 144, and according to the BMI chart i am at risk for being overweight? I before I went to this health screening and found out my actual weight wanted to go down to at least 125-130, and now that I am at risk for being overweight I really want to lose it. So does anyone have any suggestions on good weight loss plans without a pill or going to see my doctor. I want second and thrid opinions. Thanks :)
Answer:
First off, you need to eat every 4 hours and eat healthy foods. i.e: instead of eating a chocolate bar every 4 hours, eat an apple or banana. That will help you greatly.
#2) nuts are very good as they'll fill you up really fast (they release a chemical to your brain telling you you're full).
#3) Try to walk more whenever possible. When you're bored, go out for a run. If it's raining and you don't want to go out, do crunches and sit-ups. If you can afford it, you can buy a treadmill/ stair-stepper/ bike (treadmills are much better for losing weight) so you can do it inside.
