Will Hillary's universal health care cover abortions by teens?

Question:
Will Hillary's forced universal health care plan pay for all non-parental notification teen abortions? If it doesn't, will liberals still support it? What kind of health coverage doesn't pay for a 14 year old girl to have a late term abortion because she is mentally depressed? Not a very good one by liberal standards!

Answer:
Of course it will
The Federal Government does not pay for abortions and has not since it was legalized. I see no propects that this will ever change. So try to come up with a better line of argument, okay?
I hope it covers the psychiatric help you right wing lunatics need so badly!
Are there any doubts in your mind? Of course it would!
BILL Clinton signed into effect that no tax dollars would be used to fund abortions. So My guess is his wife supports his policies.
It's difficult to say as we are carrying a blank slate in terms of nationalized health care.

Beyond that, having worked for the gov't, abortions were the only elective procedure not covered.

Also, I would assume that such a plan would include preventative medicine and sex education is a great way to prevent unwanted pregnancies.
I think that just as our founders set aside the slavery question in order to bring about a more perfect union, those crafting America's entry in the modern world, (ie crafting a universal health care system) will do little on abortion, to not kill the baby with the bathwater, to mangle a metaphor.

Hillary's health care, plan, by the way, was lousy because it kept the insurance companies involved. We don't need to spend billions on nothing. That has to stop.
We can only hope so. Particularly if the girl's parents are kept out of the loop as well.
Conservatives just can't let loose of their hate, can they? They are totally dominated by hate, they love it, they revel in it, hate is the most important thing in the world to them. As you see here. Pathetic.

I bet if you Republicans had not killed Hillary Clinton's national health care plan back in 1993 you personally would have probably saved over $30,000 by now. What would you rather have done with all that money?
What is it with Republicans. Can't they see the current systemm the one they think is so great, serves no-one but the corrupt medical and pharmaceuticcal interests.

Why should it cost a thousand dollars to get a bandage on your hand in an emergency room. Materials, expertise? No, corruption. Any system will be better than the mess we have now.

Some things just can't be left to the supposed free market, because the free market is not really free in a monopolostic economy.

As to your misdirective question: if it doesn't pay for these imagined abortions, will the Hillary haters still be against it?

Cuts both ways my fine young propagandist.
If it doesn't will you adopt out of the kindness of your heart?
If you want to live in a country where the government controls all aspects of reproduction, move to China.

I'll help you pack.

Wasn't the 'Fine Young Propogandists' a band in early 90's?
Oh, of COURSE! It is their RIGHT to not only be able to kill their children, but to make us pay for it as well!
We don't know the details of how Universal Health Care will shake out but this is actually a pretty good question, despite the character assassination schtick. The answer will probably be yes, with parental authorization. The bad news for you? It's not just Hillary. All the Democratic candidates are for UHC, and - shock! - quite a few Republicans in Congress are supporting the idea. Mitt Romney thinks it's a terrific idea. So Hillary aside, the chances are that UHC will become a reality.
This shouldn't be a Federal issue, but a State one: as Ron Paul says, states should determine their preferences towards the abortion debate.

Right now there are already many states that dictate a girl under the age of consent MUST inform her parents in order to have an abortion.

Linking abortion with "Universal Health-care" is discrediting a highly valued social program that many Americans are in favor for... It really has little to do with the abortion debate.
At least Hillary HAS a healthcare idea. That is more than I see offered up by the opposition. Whether it covers teen abortions or not is irrelevant. That is a detail to be worked out at a time when the legislation is being proposed and picked over. Now is not the time for discussion. She hasn't won anything yet and even if she does it is CONGRESS not the president who makes the laws. I know that is hard for some to believe because of the actions of the current one in the presidential office but that is how it works.
Kinda early for the koolaide huh Matt. Can you name a single 14 year old that went in for non-parental notification abortion? Or even one that had her parents blessings that presented a health insurance card. No I think not.

What I do think is you're trolling for attention
"forced universal healthcare" -- as if it's a good thing that people die or lose bodily function when they can't afford to enter a hospital.

Listen, the neocon cavemen who likely were changing your diapers back then defeated the first effort at universal healthcare during Clinton's watch, and Fatty Limbaugh is still bellowing about the "healthcare debacle" as if it was the demand for decent healthcare for all citizens -- and not profiteering insurance companies and complicitious doctors -- which was the problem.

When will people of average means, such as you, realize that being nice to people isn't the problem here, and that having an inclusive vision for making the U.S. a better place to live -- and yes, to be ill -- isn't a bad thing.

Your post is precisely as stupid as those of all the other poor people who badmouth environmentalism as if they were Exxon stockholders. Blind neocons.
Do you really even have to ask. Of course it will.
all this reactionary flailing about cant be good for your blood pressure. too bad we dont have universal health care so you can afford your medication.
Not if we can get the case back to the Supreme Court. I think the make-up of the present court would allow for a reversal of Roe v Wade.
