Oh and Im on a heatly diet to =) Im watching what I eat, and none of that fatty stuff..And this is not just getting into shape , but also for my health , i carry high cholesterol [family jean] and I really need to lower it.. so do you think my plan will help me lower it? & lose weight also ? Also when do you think ill see results ? THANK YOU <3
Answer:
This is definitely a solid plan. What I would do is try to mix up your workout routine if you hit a plateau, because your body will get used to the same movements after a while. However, the amount of time you're putting into it will be excellent to burn fat and also build up some lean muscle. The key to weight loss has always been to burn off more calories than you take in. If you do that, you're golden! :) One piece of advice... if you notice the scale stop moving DON'T PANIC. Start taking your measurements also, you may find that you're losing inches. If you're gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time, this may cause the scale to either stop moving OR move in the wrong direction. Just pay attention to how well your pants feel and don't get discouraged. Good luck!!
that will deffhelp you lose weight!
it very easy,stop eating
Doing all the biking won't even matter if your still having too many calories. Figure out how many calories are burned from doing those things, and count the calories you eat in a day. Say you eat 1500 calories a day, and you burn 500 from biking, then you will most likely lose weight.
Yes you'll lose weight if you keep it up consistently, you may start to slowly see results within 1 1/2 - 2 weeks. It all depends on a persons metabolism. Biking in running is not only good for losing weight, it can help you tone all over your body quite nicely!
Good for you that you have such motivation, I wish you the best of luck ! :D
Yes, it should work assuming you keep up a good diet with lots of fruits and vegetables & continue to exercise. Also drink lots of water. Probably you'll be able to see results in 2 weeks, but it varies from person to person and depends on how different this plan is from what you were already doing. Could take more or less time. Good luck!
might be a little excessive unless you're seriously overweight. 30 to 45 minutes, 3 or 4 times a week should be plenty of exercise. You might also want to mix it up a bit, doing the same exercise every day can cause you to get burned out pretty easily. There's a yoga routine for weight loss, maybe try that - it's really good for your body & gives you a TON of energy!
It's a good idea to cut out the fatty foods, but also stop drinking soda & eating sweets. That'll be more effective than biking for 2 hours a day.
that's a good plan but..u said u started on june so u might observe if is there any differance
You need to give your body at least one day a week to rest and repair itself, or your results could begin to slow down, or worse yet, you could injure yourself.
You might want to alternate the cardio with strength training every other day, as well. The more muscle you build, the more calories your body burns in rest mode.
Yes, you will lower your body fat & cholesterol.
Depending on what shape you started out in, you will see results in about two weeks.
Also, don't gauge your results by the scale, take your measurements and go by the tape measure.
As you replace fat with muscle, muscle weighs more, and you might feel discouraged if you are weighing yourself every day.
Good luck to you.
I think that you are doing an excelent job. But also stay away from the sodium in meals and try some resistance training. You know like with weights and stuff.
Exercise is excellent, but proper foods work great. Try Jenny Craig for a while. Now they have a lose 20 pounds for $20.00 plus the cost of food. They have a large selection of foods for every different taste. Cost is about the same as your local super market. Counselors know their jobs and are helpful. I lost weight I went from 346 in July of 05 to 290 in Jan of 06. Now I am back on trying to get down to 250 before Jan of 08. Then I will work my way down to 230. I live where it snows and I don't like to drive in the snow. That is why I only diet during the warmer months. Oh by the way I am 79 years old so I don't exercise much. lol
