Universal Health Care = worst system ever.

I tell you what - if you want to "help the children" - you stroke'm a check. I work in health care and we provide all sorts of free health care - and in the end we all pay for it.

A government subsiduized system is notthe way to go - just look at Canada or Britain (bad example, the physicians there are busy planning attacks).

And it's not cheap - the poor tend NOT to have a PCP, rather their entry point into the HC system is the ER. Talk about a waste of resources. Our ER charges an arm and a leg for people treating people who have stomach aches and colds.
You should include a part that asks if you have children or not, or if your kids are now fully grown. Even though I don't have children, I do have an informed opinion on this topic. As it is, your results will be skewed only to those who currently have kids. If your question were open to a larger audience, you may have very different results.
1) I chose not to have kids
2) NA
3) There are programs already, no need to provide for those kids whose parents can rpovide for them already. Duh!
4) More than enough
5) Texas
1) d

2) c

3) a

4) e

5) New York
First off, P&S (entertainment) is not the proper category for this question. Secondly, anyone in their right mind wouldn't publicly answer these questions. Third, if you want to know how the current state of childrens health care works, or fails the ones who need it most, ask a parent of both "normal" and special needs children. It isn't a pretty picture on either side of that coin, trust me.
1) Currently, under which program are your children insured
A health insurance plan through the state that I have to pay for.
Hudson Health Plan

2) How much annually do you pay for health care/dental expenses (including medications and mental health) for your children
b. Less than $1000 (usually)

3) Do you feel that there should be a Federal or State sponsored universal health plan for children?
Umm...kind of ( I think that people should pay for their insurance if they can, maybe a based on your income sliding scale type thing)

4) Please describe your family income situation
d. Make enough to get by

5) Which state do you currently Reside in?
New York

Good question...good luck with your masters.=)

I have BOTH healthy and "special needs" children.
