How can I get low-cost affordable medical care in Oklahoma?
Question:
Answer:
http://ask.hrsa.gov/pc/ This is a website that I linked to when I went to the official website for The United States Department of Health and Human Services http://www.hhs.gov/ They are responsible for regulating and overseeing that there is health care available for everyone our country.
We live in a rich country, so be persistent. You may have to go through a few extra steps but, you can find affordable health care. Just keep in mind, in the end, your health is worth it.
Good Luck
Here a few thoughts. All links are in the source section:
1.Insurance through work: group health insurance is usually less expensive than individual health insurance and easier to qualify for.
2.Medicaid or other Oklahoma health care programs (link below has links to several options).
3.Free clinics/county health departments: Fort Smith, Arkansas might have more options for you here. (link below)
4.Medical colleges sometimes offer discounted medical services.
5.Private insurance: check with multiple OK-licensed health insurance agents to make sure you can’t afford private health insurance. (link below)
Hope this helps,
