Alright,so I am looking for a health plan for the first time. I'd like something inexpensive. Any ideas?

Question:
I'm married, going to school and working part time. We are having a hard time finding something out there. Neither of us are working full time to be able to get benefits from work. Anyone have ideas or know what plans are good?

Answer:
You could possibly contact some of the Insurance carries. Some carries such as Humana, Aetna etc may offer individual policies. Most of the time that can be rather expensive, also maybe check with your school and see if they may know of anything. There is also state continuation as well, get on your states website and look for information there. Good luck!
I haven't looked into it myself, but I think the blue cross provides fairly inexpensive plans for a single person.

The real catch you are going to run into is the added costs for dependants and spouse. Sometimes its cheaper for everyone to get their own plan.
