Not sure what your current situation is or even what state you are in. Each state has their own credentialling structure. I changed careers and became a special education teacher 6 years ago in California. If you have a Bachelors degree you should be able to qualify as a substitute or as an instructional assistant (IA) almost anywhere. In addition to online classess you might want to look at an internship program.
Yes there are on line classes to help you. You could try colleges that offer classes on line like: Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, KS. They have an excellent program.
