From what I understand, the online TEFL/TESL/TESOL degrees are looked down upon, and add very little weight to your resume. Some brick and mortar programs like Oxford are respected but can be pricey.
Often though, many schools require nothing more than a Bachelors Degree and a willingness to travel.
