Are there any websites that give details of known WW2 Nazis?

Question:

I'd be interested tp know what individuals with a known WW2 record as officers, known and noted SS members etc are still alive and whether their names etc are in the public domain.

No i dont know, but i am from Germany and my Opa (grandpa) came to visit last summer. We went to the store and this older man came up to us and started speaking German to us and telling us that he had to move to America when the war was over because people in Germany did not want him there, and he hadnt been back since he was in his 30's i believe. So it seemed like he kind of went into hiding, but he seemed like he was still angry about it or still prejudice just by some of the comment he made.
But i think it may be hard to find a "list" of Nazis because most have tried to go into hiding for fear that people may turn on them

I think that WWII is now History and we should not start again "Nazi-hunting".
