Is Devry good enough for online education?
Question:
There is one car between my wife and I, and she's going to give birth to my son this July. Hence why I would really rather take an online course, as the stress of balancing both of us working, the baby, and me taking the one car to a school would simply be too much.
It would be easier to let her take the car, and watch the kid while taking my courses online. I still can't help but feel worried that I won't be able to get a job with a degree from Devry. The other reason I don't want to go to a brick & mortar college is my schedule. I work from 10pm to about 4am or so, and end up sleeping up to 12p-4pm, depending on how the night went. So as you can see, and B&M college would be...a giant pain.
Answer:
DeVry is really more of a "hand-on" college and you would benefit more from the experience of being in class and learning the tools of the trade.
Unless you are planning on a business degree from DeVry, I would say no to your question and suggest you pursue your degree in person or seek another profession where the on-line degree is easier to obtain.
If you look at his c.v. , the Bahamian immigration minister that quit his cabinet position after the discovery of pictures of himself on a bed with Anna Nichole Smith, has a degree from DeVry.
Take that information however you want to.
There are lots of people who are getting their degrees, either through correspondence or online. As long as the degree is legitamate, it shouldn't matter how it's obtained.
