If you live in England, there are some courses leading to a national qualification that you can probably get for free as you would be eligible for government funding. These are all online courses too: http://www.real-work-at-home.co.uk/recom...
Obviously, if the Govt are funding you, this means it is a 100% legitimate training company with great courses.
In bar management there are a number of skills that you would need.
Maybe Mastering Business & Administration, or Customer Service Skills. Perhaps Team Leading or Business Improvement.
Managing a bar covers a wide area: from keeping customers happy, to managing the staff, sorting out the finances side and being aware of legislation for employment, serving alcohol and health & safety.

There are no qualifications in bar management that I am aware of. I would do a British Institute of Innkeeping qualification instead. Without this you cannot hold a liquor licence. It is not a long course and if you buy the trade papers for the licensed trade, the courses will be listed.
The papaers you need are The Publican and The Morning Advertiser. You may have to order them from your local newsagent.
