Hey, that's a cool idea! Good for you!
I'm a 6th grade teacher... from my perspective, we try to teach you what we can so that you'll be better prepared for the obstacles and the challenges that you meet now and will meet in the future.
Good teachers give you the opportunity to work with others, express your opinions in a polite way, discover what your interests are, how to be funny or serious and when it's appropriate, how to make mistakes and learn from them, develop strategies for solving problems, and so much more!! Wouldn't you agree, Mr. Spencer?
I have been teaching for over 10 years and can tell you this, you are really lucky to have a teacher like Mr. Spencer. I'm sure that he would agree with me that teaching is one of the best jobs in the world. I hope that one of these days you will get the chance to do what we do: Encourage kids to be the best they can be and inspire them to have an unquenchable love of learning!
