Before you know it....BYKI.....
Hey there, just login BYKI.COM and they will offer you free software download in different languages. It's really easy to work with and improve ur pronounciation also.Best of Luck
wise owl has the best choice im sure, the bkyi is also good and offers free download so you can pop sections onto your mp3 player which is what i do. babelfish is an online translator but it doesnt always seem right when you translate the phrases back? would love to know wise owls view on that cos i tried to use it but i remain unsure of its preciseness. you could always visit french style cafe's etc to practice your phrases with others who are there for more than just a coffee... good luck and enjoy your trip.

BBC most definetely. And most importantly, they're not trying to sell you anything, just help you learn.
Try typing "free french lessons online" or what language you prefer. Then start from there. If you want you can download free language modules worth hundreds of dollar from from demonoid.com or btjunkie.org. Bearshare, limewire and e-mule also has them. There you can have access to Pimsleur, Living Language, etc.
