Can anybody suggest a good linstructor-led CCNA course in the LA-county area OR a good online course for someone with basic networking knowledge? I would even apreciate knowing which ones to avoid. Also, about how much should it cost? (so i don't get ripped-off...) thanks!

Haven't seen or heard of any good online courses. As far as instructor-led there are lots of things you should check for. There is a good company out there, although they do not do training in LA. At least you can use their website as a guide for what questions to ask other companies. Check out the "12 reasons".
No matter what you do, make sure to study ALOT.
