Excel Courses?

Question:

I am interested in learning more about excel and it functions and capabilities. I use excel daily, but I could ideally do with more training, such as how to program in VBA and creating forms and work around some of the problems I experience. I have used the internet extensively to answer my questions, but there never seems to be answers without some kind of fee attached to it. If i am going to pay someone to give me code then i would rather learn it myself. Does anyone know of any reputable courses I could take or any online training courses?? I mainly specialise in databases, so anything along these lines would be great. I have tried my hand at Access but I can't seem to get my head around the relationships side of it. If anyone knows of any good courses, I would be most appreciative.

Examples are all over the net

To learn VBA, look at simple codes and modify them a little here and there until you learn how they work

It's up to you. You can take a course, but you will not remember what you don't use

There are plenty of local libraries that run cousres on Excel programmes from intermediate levels to advanced the charges for this vary but they are Adult Ed. linked and are inexpensive sometimes free depending on circumstances. Also look up Learn Direct on google if you are confident enough to do it unassited.

You will learn the theory through their online interface but to take the online exam you have to come to a Learn Direct eLearning center [see the website for details of your nearest eLearning center]

ooh side note, you have to use Internet Explorer their online interface does not support FireFox
