Second of all, yes, people with cognitive disabilities (including mild MR) have the same hormonal urges the rest of us do. Depending on the severity, they may not understand what it is that he or she is viewing, but they may find it interesting - and stimulating.
The same person may also be interested in cars, but of course he or she would most not likely be driving them.
people with so called mental retardation are first people. we live in a dysfunctional, retarded society... we are imbalanced, and ignorant on many many levels... we function on a superficial perception of intelligence, spinning our wheels thinking we know it all... the answers are much more simple than people care to consider... so yes,,, any human can develop an interest in any topic... we are greater than our "minds" more that what we value... we are each born spiritual, emotional, mental and physical... we don't have a clue what spiritual means, we leave it up to churches and religions who do nothing but destroy it's purpose,,, we are so emotionally dysfunctional the best thing people (doctors and scientists) come up with is the constant retardation of our emotions cause it's the only remedy they see...

I agree why would you ask this? If you met someone with Mild MR you probably wouldn't even know it for awhile. As for anything else it would depend on the individual.
