In Class or Online?

Question:
Which would you rather do while working 35 + hours a week... go to class from 8-12 everyday or take online courses? I need at least 18 hours this semster...

Answer:
My experience with online classes is that they are harder.
Not necessarily harder content, but rather an increased work load.
I've only taken four online courses, but they were all killer. I found myself putting in at least twice the hours completing the work for my online classes as I did for in class sessions.
Of course, they set the courses up that way in order to make up for the time you do not spend in a classroom.
Realistically, it depends on what classes you intend to register for. Maybe you could do both. Take a few classes at school and a couple on line.
Keep in mind that online classes do not correlate to independent study. You will still have due dates and deadlines to meet. Additionally, many online classes require you to still go to your college's testing center for exams.
Good luck!
Take the online class but that's just me.
I prefer in class
It really depends on you and the class you are taking. I enjoy going to class, but I had to take my math classes on line because I am slow and the allotted time to take tests during the class period was not enough time for me. This allowed me to learn at my own pace. Are you a procrastinator? If so, on line classes might not be for you. It relly depends on what type of learner you are. On line classes are not always easier either. Sometimes they have a lot of reading involved.
Online would be more convenient, but unless you are super motivated and disciplined, you may not stay on top of everything that is due. And, believe me, it is very easy to get behind because there is no one class to go to and there is no one to be accountable to.

Most online classes require regular discussion participation and submissions. So, unless you are 100% sure that you won't get behind, enroll in a face to face class.
it all depenz on u and how much u can handle. when i did it i did it according to wat the course i was taking and the intensity of the course.. i did some traditional and some online... harder courses that u need to sit down and be in a class room environment, shoudlnt be taken onlne. i suggest taking somewat easier courses online like sociology, nutrition, psychology, music , maybe english u know jsu some courses that dont require much attention...

its all about waying your options.. if u are a procastinator then online is not for you because u have to have the initiative to do the work without being in a class and someone sayin this is due that is due,. online is more a given syllabus and u do wat is required no actual trainin.. but i wud like to know wat u decide me mail me and lt me kno wat route u took!!

good luck!!
I am taking online courses the flexibility is key and think of commuting time etc. extra expenses like dinner out when you are on your way to class, weather.

I'd prefer online personally.
