SAT Online Course?
Question:
Answer:
It's not as useful as you think. When I first took the SAT, my score was low in the mid 1700s but then I got the sat guide from guideparadise: http://www.guideparadise.com/index.php?o... and my score went up to 2190 (800 math, 760 writing, 630 reading). I highly recommend this guide for anyone wishing to get a higher SAT score.
The SAT online course is amazing
however, i could never do it
even with my "asian" mom yelling at me.
for the first week i could get through it
but really its hard!
You must be very dedicated and highly motivated.
Well, I do believe I am motivated, but not enough for complete the online course.
Therefore, I attend a college prepatory center 6 hours a day, and it sounds grueling but it is so much more motivating than the online course.
You see others around you working hard, and honestly really do not like to admit this, but it makes you work hard because you really do not want to be embarassed not knowing your stuff.
So I improved my score from a 1800 to a 2000 in one month, of course with dilligence.
Getting to the point, I believe unless you are VERY HIGHLY motivated then it sounds swell.
Otherwise, you might want to look into academies.
NOTE: My friends from Harvard, Yale, Georgetown, and Princeton all went to academies for their SAT's simply because they said they can not motivate themselves.
i started looking at the online course after i took the SAT(cuz my school bought it for every student, but too late lol), and i didnt like it. i didnt want to have to study everything, i only needed help with math and alittle practice with reading comp. i used the big blue SAT book I bought from a book store, and that was good for me. i ended up with 1820/2400.
