How many individuals tell their friends the truth?

Question:

How many individuals out there tell their friends the truth when they question if someone has interest in another person? My friend had asked another friend if they were interested in someone and the friend said "down for a good time but nothing more". Yet, the actions don't add up to being "nothing more". I told my friend it's possible the individual is too shy & too personal to let others know but that it was also possible that there was nothing there. Did I give bad advice?

Answer:
If I want to get some friendly advice about my love-interest, then I would answer such a question openly and honestly.

But if I know what I'm doing. And I'm not looking for advice. Then I would answer the question in a way that eliminates any oppotunity for advice-giving.

Who knows If you did or if you didn't. You won't know until something happens however in the mean time don't give anymore advice if you are going to second guess yourself after you gave advice.

i mean as long as you told this person the truth than i think its okay. i mean i know is alot of situations its hard to tell people the truth, but in this situation if you told the person the truth than it should be okay. but i think you gave really really good advice. i hope everything works out for you. :)
