SAT prep courses: Online versus the classroom?
Question:
Answer:
Neither. I always recommend the prep book over any prep class because the book allows you to pace yourself and focus on what you specifically need to focus on, and what they teach in those classes is pretty much the same as what's in the book; the only difference is that someone is saying it aloud, but I'm pretty sure you're capable of reading it for yourself. And a book is always cheaper than a class, and it's much more permanent.
Classroom, because if you have any questions its easier to ask a person right in front of you. They both work good though.
I took both and you definantly wana take the classroom course, it's more personal.
I took a classroom course and my score on the test rose significantly, never tried any online courses though. I took the Kaplan classroom course.

When I first took the SAT, my score was low in the mid 1700s but then I got the sat guide from guideparadise: http://www.guideparadise.com/index.php?o... and my score went up to 2190 (800 math, 760 writing, 630 reading). I highly recommend this guide for anyone wishing to get a higher SAT score.
