Anyone ever try online courses? How are they compaired to reg. clases?
Question:
positives negatives
thanks
Answer:
First, you have to evaluate if online courses are for you or not? If you are someone who perform better by interacting with the others (professors and classmates), you might find it difficult at the beginning because you hardly see them. Second, you have to see how disciplined you are in your daily life. You do need to put in the hours required in order to get a good grade. If you are only half-serious about it, don't really spend your time and money pursuing it.
The best way to approach it is to:
(1) find a good university with a good reputation.
(2) once you're registered, find out all the resources a school can give you. Get into online discussion groups, contact your tutor etc.
(3) Allow some time (even if it means sacrificing personal time) to study and complete all assignments.
(4) Work towards a goal--may it be a degree, diploma or certificate.
Open University UK offers really good courses and is very reputable. Take your time to look around for the right school and right course for you. Good luck.
I find it easy to forget about assignments when taking online classes. Once I realized five days later that I had a paper due. I got a D in the class.
I have tried an online course two tims and I think it is good but it has some advantages and disadvantages .You should study lessons yourselfe because you won't have any class to attend. you'll have a teacher that help you and a CA that solve your technical problems. Also you would have alot of assignments to do every week. Online course is interesting. You will learn how to study carefully. It develops your ability of thinking. Also it make you to be on time.In my opinion online courses are interesting.Try it once
Good luck
