I doubt much of anything that would give out a legitimate certificate would be free.
Nothing comes for free dear. You can find free tutorials at net but they wont give you a completion certificate. Why should they when you are paying nothing at all, isn't it? Type 'free tutorials in...(your subject)' in Google and you shall get enough results.

Barnes and Noble offers some free online courses. I do not know if you get a certificate or not.
