Online schooling?
Question:
Answer:
You might want to check with your local community college. I'm taking online courses through them this semester and the cost is the same as if I actually went to the college itself. I'm paying $1400 for a 4 class semester. That is before financial aid.
The thing you have to worry about is accreditation. Iwouldn't suggest taking courses from a college which does not have a physical campus. The classes should be the same as any regular campus class, but you might have to pay a small service fee with some. Also some classes are not truly online. They are hybrid classes which the majority of the course work is online, but you have to show up on certain dates for lab work or testing.
I hope this helps
It is very expensive. My wife just finished using University of Phoenix and we were paying $1500 per course every 6 weeks.
My sister is currently taking photgraphy classes online throught Penn Foster to earn a degree and for the entire course it is around $600. But I suppose it depends on what you want to learn.
