Any one ever done online college classes?

Question:
I'm going to be completing my teaching degree though an online course through UW-Superior. I've never taken an online class, and I'm really nervous about it. Has anyone completed their degree this way? Was it very difficult? I'm going be be juggling two part-time jobs (one in my home), a family, and college. I want to do well in school (I've always gotten A's and B's before), but I don't want to put too much pressure on myself since grades aren't everything. I've had people tell me online courses are tougher than regular courses. The one I'm really concerned about this semester is my Mathematics class for Elementary School Teachers. Math is not my strong suit, and I looked over the 1st chapter, and I'm already confused. Any reassurance would be great! Previous experience with online college classes would be a plus.

Answer:
I just finished my associates from all online classes through our local community college. I just started going to a University online classes and still love it. I originally was a stay at home mom with two kids under the age of two and was completely able to do it all. Then I started working and still taking care of the family, and I love my online classes. I keep track when I have a due date, but my favorite feature is you can do assisgnments early. So when you know you have some free time I would definetely recommend doing as much as you can while you can. This relieves much of the tension between your classes and wanting to do fun stuff with your family or working. You still have a teacher to ask questions to if you find you are not getting a subject. Best of luck to you.
I haven't...im not close to the age of being in college im only a Jr. In high school...who should be a senior. well my mom is gonna do online classes for college...so yeah by the way it was explained it sounds good. But i would like to be there in class too...like that the college...but it sounds better online cuz u don't have to get out of your pajamas...and u can eat when ever. So yeah sounds good tho.

I got my associates degree from University of Phoenix and am working an a Bachelors from Kaplan University.

Personally, I think it is easier than a conventional college because you can do the work on your own time, even at 3am in the morning drinking a cold beer in your pajamas if you want. However, it is normally at a faster pace than regular schools.

Just expect to do a lot of work, especially papers. You won't have any interaction with the instructor other than through online discussions and emails, so make sure you plan what you ask or say. Also, budget your time to allow plenty of time to read, write papers, and study.

It's hard work but it's worth it.
I love online classes. I am a procrastinator and work a lot and barely ever have any time. I got all A's in high school and in college I am a C student, just because I don't really push myself as much as I should. I believe online classes are better, you have to push yourself to learn. It is a bit harder, but then it's not, you don't really have anyone telling you to do this and that, and no lecturing is the best part. There are plenty of people you can ask questions to as well. I have taken a variety of classes online from math to english to psychology. My strong point is math so if you have any questions message me and I will give you my email address. I love it. The good thing about online classes is you have deadlines, but you can also do things early. What I usually do is write out a syllabus for myself with the due dates, then I break them up into like 4 sections, and I will make 4 dates that I just need to sit down and do all the work. That way I can get it done early, and you may finish your whole college course weeks before it actually ends. Also you can do this at 3am, noon, 6pm, whenever, it is nice to work around your schedule. Any help needed send me a message!
