ADMIN: Public Allegations of Cheating By Specific Individuals Will Be Deleted; Please Use "Report Abuse"
Question:
We're very interested in finding out about cheating on Answers. However, in fairness to everyone involved, it's _not_ kosher to point fingers publicly at specific individuals. That just starts flame wars and makes everybody come out looking bad.
Instead, please report it to us using the "Report Abuse" link. Please include the user's nickname, a link to his profile (very important, as nicknames can be duplicated), and an explanation of the pattern of abuse that you see. We'll take it from there.
Please do feel free to discuss cheating techniques and patterns _in general_. That is useful information. The one thing we ask is that you don't start confrontations with particular people. After this, all future postings alleging cheating by specific individuals will be deleted.

Hm I probably couldn't be an admin anyway...I'm too opinionated. Plus it sounds like a lot of work.
I'm glad this is here too. However, I think it should be posted as some kind of permanent "Sticky Note" around here. Questions have about 10 minutes on the "surface", on average.

I agree , I am glad they are here, but they jumped to conclusions about some things very quickly with out reading whole question.

Okay. I totally agree with you (from personal experience!) but where's your actual question? Maybe this would have been better as a blog. I hope the hamster's coming back soon because this new avatar is just not the same.
Arguments are fun in sports. I believe that it is neccesary. When you think that an answer doesent make any sense you have to argue. Not critisize the person but their answer

Thanks for making this annoucement. It cuts down on the clutter on this website. Attacking people through questions and answers is a bad thing. Where is the love?
I suggest you add "Yahoo Discussions" into this website to sartisy those with that thrill. sometimes we wanna share opinions which also quesiotns and answers, however, we wanna put several messages as arguement. of course, right now, this is hard for the asker, cuz the asker cannot put more than the limits. and there is something strange too. when I add details, the character limits should be 1000, but when I reach less than 10 like 5 or 4, it tells me "oops, you exceeded the limit"! thank you so much for this nice service! Great post, I too agree that AnswersRoom.coms must not be a place where people vent their rage. Although some communication among users is obviously expected but, we should always know the limits.
As far as cheating techniques go, the practice that bugs me the most is people voting for their answers like "I don't know", "The above answerer is correct" and stuff like that and getting chosen the best answer being the ONLY voter.
