Has anyone taken online courses? Are there any accredited schools online?
Question:
Thank you.
Answer:
I am a medical transcriptionist :)
I took my course through Education Direct (now Penn Foster) and I realy enjoyed the program. I was offered a job before I was done with my program. In my opinion, it does not matter where you take your program. I believe that it takes you as a person to want to learn and be able to continue learning--not what course you take. I enjoy my work and would do it 24/7 if I could just figure out how to stay awake long enough :)
Please feel free to email me and I will do what I can to help you. Have a great day!!
There are several accredited online schools but most of them are more expensive than a traditional university. University of Phoenix, Colorado Technical University and St. Leo College are all really good online schools.
I heard chubbs is into it. Not sure if they offer online course, check them. Also DeVry and Phoenix. I havent taken online course yet, if it turns out to be good then let me know.
Your local junior college probably has lots of online courses.
I have taken classes with Devry University and they are very expensive online. They have hidden fees throughout and you will not know about them until you get the bill. My advice would be to check with your local college/university; most of them now offer night/online classes to help working adults compelte their education. Good Luck!
