A question regarding BTEC courses?
Question:
I missed out on a college placement for a btec dipoma in floristry.I really don't want to waste a year before I can take the course.
I am working in two florsits both very good,they are teaching me the proper college way .
My question is can I do the btec course privately with a tutor ? (as I really don't want to wait till next september to start this course for many reasons)
If not what about an online course,are they any good?

Have you already been assesed and passed on your other units? If so all you have to do is the placement. get in touch with the college you did the course with, aks what you eed to do to complete.
I did a BTEC, unfortunately, unless you have done the college essays, you might already be too late to do all the work since September.
However have you considered NVQ's?
These can be done in the workplace and are equivalent (if you do NVQ 3) and you can start them at any time (if I understand correctly) More Info:
