First of all what company are you going to work for? Ask them for additional help. Usually you can schedule a one day class prior to taking your exam and most respectable insurance companies will pay for the class, your books and the exam. The class will prep you on what you need to know and what questions to look for on the test. Highly recommended.
If the company is not paying for anything maybe you should look around for a different company.

Texas Property and Casualty Exam Prep Class - this is the class you need to take to learn everything thats going to be on
the test. If you want to just order the material and study on your
own you can do that but its alot more confusing when you dont have someone explaining it to you.

Texas Property and Casualty Insurance Preferred Set- this one has a cd in it so you can listen to it while your driving or doing
whatever. If you have any type of receptionist experiance some Insurance office's might hire you before you get any license and if that happens you'll understand a little more about whats going on in the class. Also sometimes insurance agents will offer to pay for your license and class once you've worked for them for awhile. Thats what me and My sister did. Hope this helps!
