Has anyone ever taken an online medical billing course from allied school?
Question:
Answer:
Yes, I took medical billing when I graduated from high school. My parents didn't have enough money for college. I wasn't sure what to do. I knew I wanted some kind of career so I decided to enroll in Allied Schools. I searched the Internet and it seemed like a good choice. I chose medical billing because I wanted to work in a doctor's office or hospital, and also wanted to have the option to work from home when I had a family. It was definitely worth it! I enrolled online and received a box from Allied with all of the materials. There were a lot, but once I got started, it wasn't as hard as I thought. I chose to take the course online, but I still received materials in the mail. The quizzes and tests were online. I used a password to log on and the interface was so easy to use! I finished in three months, which is a lot sooner than my best friend at a state university. It's been two years and I work in an outpatient clinic. I was lucky and got a referral from a friend that is a lab tech. Did you see the website www.medicalbillingcourses.com. There's a lot of information about the course. Good luck! I highly recommend Allied.
Sorry, I would be more than glad in helping you with this but I haven't take any online course. In my opinion, online courses are not good, I prefer to be in a class-room with a teacher (I love to ask questions and I just can't ask a question to a computer). Maybe I'm wrong.
