Has anyone taken online courses to get a degree?

Question:
If so, were you able to get a good job?

Answer:
Sorry, I disagree. Many of the online universities are actually part of a campus university. There are many in my area that offer complete distance learning where you can earn a degree online, many working at your own pace without the distractions of socialization. Do your research before choosing one.
Please DO NOT waste your money with on line schools. Most of them are proprietary schools, which means "for profit". Often they are not accredited which means the units don't transfer and the degree is worthless and you probably can't get federally insured student loans. Many community colleges and state universities have schedules to accomodate working adults and some on line classes. Take your classes with one of those institutions. They are accredited, they are cheap, the degree means something and you are able to take advantage of all the on campus activities and services like tutoring or sporting events or art shows, etc.
