like my son is going to be 15 in about 3 months. he wants to take the 4 hour course for first time drivers for his learners permit or restricted license online and i dont know if it is actually valid. do they give him a certificate to show or does the results get saved on the dmv database or something. in 3 to 4 months will they still be able to bring it upas he already completed it. because I dont want it to be that he does it now and then when he goes to take the permit test it shows as if he didnt do it. if it is valid what are some good websites for FLORIDA. Please respond so i can give him an answer

I actually did the same thing your son did. I took the Florida online course and you take an online course, read some chapters, take a test at the end, and they email you a certificate that you take to your local DMV. Hope that helps. yea its valid i took mines last year and i live in florida, but i recommend u go to some kind of drivers ed place and do the 4 hour crap then they give you a paper certificate to me its much more reliable then doing it online just so i wont waste my money
