Does anyone know of any good online courses to become a web designer? Which software should I purchase?
Question:
Answer:
I like this website: http://www.webdesignfromscratch.com/... . If you want to see more quality sites like that, go to http://del.icio.us and search for "web design" and other keywords like that.
I also personally like to use Dreamweaver (from Adobe), or Actual Drawing (from PY software) to design webpages. Good luck with you!
barnes and noble offered free classes online for this type of thing. it's a good cheap way of getting your feet wet with different kinds of things -- only costs you the price of the book.
go to www.bn.com and then to the link/button about BN University
you should try this!
http://www.w3schools.com/
it has tutorials for HTML, XHTML, and CSS
The W3C Schools tutorials are good, and if you want to go with an easier slower pace, check out htmlgoodies.com. I am a web designer, and I use Adobe PhotoShop CS2 every single day. Some designers use Dreamweaver, but I write my XHTML and CSS by hand (I use an HTML editor, like Homesite). Use those two applications, and you're all set.
