Do I have to use another program w/ Limewire to put them on a Mp3Mp4 player ? How can I convert them first ?

I have a site I can convert them on but it takes forever and its one at a time. Plus I need a place to put the files cuz my CPU only has a10GB HD Please dont suggest itunes,musicmatch,or media monkee then leave me hang'in. If I need one the answer is yes, then all I need is coverting scenarios and a good lashing of some good ole fasioned HOW TO advice and some why's in the Limewire dept, some files wont play, will they play once they are on the player or converted. How come I cant access the music or clips from my regular documents ? why is my CPU so slow now w/ 4gb still left.I wanted to keep them on my CPU but eversince downloading them I can barely change channels. Thanks

Depends on the MP3 player you have. If it's an iPod then you need to install iTunes and import the files into your iPod library. Next time you sync with the iPod they will be copied to the MP3 player.
A 10GB hard drive is really small. I bet you only have a small amount of RAM as well, if this is an old PC. That would account for the computer running slowly. It's not just hard drive size that matters!
You didn't mention what format the files you downloaded from Limewire were in. Most audio files from the PTP networks should be OK - they are already MP3 files. If you have some which are not playing, it may be that they are not proper audio files! I hate to say that some idiots put virus files up on the PTP networks and make them look like audio or video files, so it's possible you may have downloaded some of these? If you executed them, you may have inadvertently installed viruses on your computer, which is another possible reason for it running slowly. Only download MP3 or other files you recognize from Limewire!
