I have my pc hooked up to a 27 inch lcd. It normally fills the screen but when i play games and watch movies?
Question:
Answer:
LCD displays are usually set to a certain pixel depth and screen ratio(16x9 or 4x3).
WideScreen(16x9): most newer LCD's are set to 1440x900 pixels and only newer games come "WideScreen" capable.
Standard(4x3): almost all gmaes are played in 4x3 aspect... some newer games like "FEAR", etc... are wide screen capable.
You need to find out what your LCD pixel depth is, wither or not it is widescreen... this will help you set the correct aspect ratio when trying to play games.
You can set up a batch progam to change your display setting before stating the game so that when the game is started it is then maximied to "FullScreen".
Feel free to contact me if you need more help.
