ok i have ilo26-hd it still comes in good and stuff but my buttens are no working power butten works when you push it in and it goes on standby then when you push any butten it comes on works fine but when you go to use the buttens for the volume and channel it dont work i dont get they turn it one so they work but wont change channel same thing with remote is there any way i can bypass the buttens or some thing so i can switch the input from cable to one of the av plugs or s-video so i can still use it for games or put it on channel 3 or some thing stuck on one channel lifetime worst channel in the wolrd lol or can i switch out the parts that control those fuctions from parts with a nother tv i dont care if i have wires hanging out the side as long as i can still use it help me plz

Unplug the power cord for 5 minutes then plug it in and turn it on..
Now, you say the remote wasn't working the volume and channel command either.right? If so, the microprocessor needs replaced or the 5 minute "Unplug" will restart it and download the built-in software.
Yeah..TVs are MORE computer than TV nowadays...
So...if your remote now works correctly, you know the computer in the TV set had locked up.
IF you find the front panel buttons STILL not working, then check your instruction manual for "Front Panel Lock" in the index.
To KIDPROOF these TV sets, many manufacturers now have a way of disabling the front panel buttons so kids don't ON/OFF/ON/OFF/ON/OFF the TV to a premature death.
Normally you hold down a certain button like the Menu button for 5 - 10 seconds and it enables/disables the Lockout
