Dish TV alignment?

Question:
how to re-align the dish focused to NSS6 at 95 Deg east to Insat 4B at 93.5 Deg East?

Answer:
The easiest way since you know the direction and degrees would be to use a Satellite Signal Meter with a compass. I am putting an ENDED auction listin from Ebay to show you what it is and how it works. You can most likely find them at most large electronic stores also.

Here is a link to see it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/satellite...

Once you connect it between the dish and multiswitch it will beep and show you the signal strength until you zero it in for the best signal..

I hope this helps.
Well,
I guess you were using the DTH for nss-6 sattelite, now you have to change the direction of the dish from its existing 95 deg east to 93.5 deg east. And also you have to feed the new parameters like freeq, symb and pol as shown below.

Freeq Symb pol

1, 10990 27500 V
2, 11070 27500 V
3, 11150 27500 V
4, 11490 27500 V
5, 11570 27500 V

After feeding these parameters you turn the dish a little towards right by you standing behind the dish, you should get the signals from INSAT2-B.
Make sure Lnb freeq is 9750(low) and 10600 (high
