Will I pick up more stations with an antenna?

Question:
Purchased a new LG LCD last week. It picks up quite a few HD/ Digital channels (as well as all my 'old' channels) through a coaxial cable due to it's internal tuner. Will I get even more with an antenna?

Answer:
yes you will recive a lot more channels. not only channels from nearby will appear, but also "unknown " channels can be seen on your screen
Not likely. With the new lcd tvs that are coming out, you usually have to set up service with a tv retailer...such as directv, charter, so on and so forth.. I would look into that first, questions are free after all, before you try hooking anything else up to your tv...after all, you don't know what will happen to your tv if you hook the antenna up first. Hope this helps!
Check how many stations you have within 30 miles. ~
If there are quite a few, yes you can get more channels with an outdoor antenna.
an aerial will give you more range, not necessarily more content but you chances are better.
