My TV won't work!??1!#@!#$?

Question:
I bought a new LCD TV that's supposed to be HD and have a tuner in and be cable ready and allthat fancy stuff. I plugged it in turned it on and I have no picture. The remote has too many buttons and I tried changing channels but their all blank? There are also like a million connections on the back of the thing. Do I need to plug those into the wall too? My old tv just had one plug into the wall. Nothing else was hooked to it. Also when I turn it on nothing really happens no lights or anything.

Answer:
Give up watching TV, I have. It will change your life for the better.
read the instructions
at what time does the garbage truck pass by?
Well I would suggest you getting a professional to install the t.v. and if when the professional installs the t.v. and it still won't show a picture, maybe you should check with the cable company and see if there any problems with the cable itself. Good Luck.
call the geek squad at best buy. they help with all kinds of stuff like that . im pretty sure they can do tv's
It would help if I knew what brand of TV we are talking about, but I can give it a shot. Your TV is probably not on the right input. You should have a button on your remote control that says "TV/Video" or "Input". One of these will change the input on your TV and allow you to move between the inputs. If this doesn't work you should probably refer to your owner's manual about the situation. Again, if I knew what brand of TV it is, I might could help you better. Thanks.
