Why does my tv cut off a portion of the picture on HD channels?

Question: I have had the same experience on both my HDTV and my projector. Any thoughts on how to fix it? They were both connected by HDMI cables.

Have you checked the aspect ratio setting on your TV and PJ? Mine used to do that whe it was set incorrectly.
