Do I need to connect both ATSC NTSC to get all channels from air?

Question:
My TV has ATSC and NTSC. Do I need to have 2 antennas(HD and non-HD) to hook up the two ports to get all channels? Thank you.

Answer:
It depends on the device, but my guess is that you only need the NTSC antenna connected to pick up local HD TV in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

ATSC is the committee that has set the standard to replace NTSC, and so that connector probably would work also.

At any rate you only need one antennae. Try one, and then the other ans see which one gives you the better signal.
