Dish Network HD and Local Channels not broadcasting In HD?

Should he have installed it through the HDMI port?
Answer:
OH YEAH .. he should have.
OR You can use your COMPONENT Jacks too...they're Hi Def.Those are the Red Green Blue with Red/White for audio.
HDMI is the better one because it gives you Dolby Audio or you can use the Digital Audio or Optical output on the HD Box for it.
The standard stereo output on the box WON'T give you Dolby.
Just like the Video 2 Port Won't give you HD, or an HD station Won't give you HD if the TV show isn't recorded in HD.
