Hi I own a 50'' Hitachi with 1080i resolution & with 2 HDMI input. I also own a HDMI-To-DVI cable. Were do I connect the DVI at? I do have Charter cable box & it only has USB output & no I do not HD channel order. A friend he told me that I need a DVI-to-VGA source? Do I also need RCA jacks? Please help I am stress out & confuse. Thank you. :)

I am not sure how to help you because you neglected to provide model numbers please provide.
In any case you may be under the impression you need to use hdmi. you don't, use component instead since most of the charter boxes are a component or vga out same if not better video quality. your hitachi will have this input use it instead.
Provide model numbers to me to be sure.
