I have a Panasonic Big Screen HD ready TV that is about 3 years old. Yesterday, while watching TV, the picture went blury and a large green streak planted itself across the bottom. I switched channels, I went to the other options such as video 1 and video 2, etc and I even turned the set off for several hours, but the bluriness stayed.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be and if it is expensive to get fixed? I'd hate to buy a new TV just after three years. I guess they just make things half a**ed nowadays.

Hopefully, you got an extended warranty... You'll be needing a new Green CRT, approx $650 - $750 repair.
It might be something interfering with the TV - try moving it to another spot in the room and see if it still does it.
If so - then it will probably be expensive to fix.
THis always works on my TV(when it happens) but my tv is crap! CHECK THAT THE SCART LEAD IS PROPPERLY PUSHED IN THEN if that doesnt work kall panosonic and enquire!!
