comcast is a great deal...i would just get the cable and internet...I wouldnt get a house phone I would just stick to cell phones as you wont need a house phone for cable. It saves you money in the long run...good luck
Comcast isn't just unreliable; they're incredibly difficult to work with. We fired them years ago, and it was one of the happiest days of my life.
We use DirecTV, and we used to use DISH network. Either company is great to deal with. We get "naked DSL" from our local phone company and use Vonage for our phone service.
AT&T offers DSL for as little as $10 in some areas, $14.99 in others. Vonage wants $25 for unlimited phone service to North America and Europe. That allows you to pick out the satellite package you want. It starts at around $25 plus $5 each for additional rooms. With two dual-tuner TiVOs and a third regular receiver, it costs us about $75/month and we get a huge package - ALL the non-premium channels plus one of the premiums.
But stay away from Comcast. They're bad news.
