Can i still get my my HD local channels?

Question:
I just bought a house and i hooked up my tv to the jack that was coming from the floor. i have my local channnels that look crappy but i also am getting those local channels in HD . Not sure how I'm doing that. Anyway i have dish network coming today to install some satellite tv for me. Will i no longer be able to view the HD local channels that i am somehow getting?

Answer:
You will only be able to receive these through a dish network HD box. If you are receiving a standard definition box, you will not be able to have HD come out the other side. If you are receiving a HD box then you can get the local HD channels and they will display in your programming guide.

If your are not getting the HD box, then try running mutiple inputs. Most recent TVs have mutiple inputs. Run one cable from your current connections and run the other cable from the dish to another imput. Then all you have to do is change inputs by using the input button on your remote and you can swap back and forth.
