100% cpu usage with heat while playing pc games, even for old games like age of empires 1 and need for speed?

Question:
SYSTEM-Intel D915GVWBL,P4 2.66ghz,512mb(dual channel),intel 82915 express chipset with intel 900 gma
no virus and spyware found, HD defragmented regularly.
what could be causing this problem?
1. RAM ;- adding more RAM will solve this problem?
2. Integrated audio/video :- adding graphics card and sound card will solve this problem?
my board only has 2 pci slots and one pcie 1x slot, but no pcie16x slot or agp slot
Are pci graphic cards better than onboard intel 82915 express chipset? is there a graphics card for pcie 1x slot?

Bios Setup only has options to disable onboard lan and audio, so if i add the new graphics card how to disable the onboard graphics, or does it automatically gets disabled if drivers for new card are installed?

Game Compatibilty list,
http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/in... the list contains far more 3d intensive games like doom3, AOE 2 etc. so i cant understand why is there problem with old games like AOE1 and nfs4

Answer:
just buy display card and u will get what u need directly
get an updated graphics card, and for the time being make sure you have the latest drivers and directx installed 512mb ram should be fine
i would add a decent video card and disable onboard gpu
My PC does exactly the same thing so I press control alt delete and close explorer.exe.This seems to cure the 100%cpu usage straight away. The only problem is i have to press control alt delete everytime i want to run a program(by using the new task tab).
I have been to a local shop and they say i should fit a good graphics card.So i am saving up for one until then i will carry as i am.
What? When you play a game (doesn't matter 2d or 3d) your cpu usage is 100% it's Truth always 100% Full CPU usage whatever confriguation including graphics card you have. but this isn't going to affect your system it's normal, you should Focus on memory usage by that game rather than Cpu usage.
Sound like your system is pretty decent. Ok first of all you should have a AGP slot on the board & thats best for graphics & yes there are better sound cards out there than ht eonboard sound. But what I think may be your problem is have your windows open and look at your satrt menu bar. On the opposite side of the sart button to ur right about how many lil icons are there. I currently have 9 & I just writing you but if I weree to trying to play one of your games I would feel my pc startin t o drag. Get rid of some of those. They are running in the background making the cpu go to 100% usage. Word of advice is whenever your installin any kind of program & it asks if you want it to add aquick launch or icon on desk top say no or unck the boxes they have there. Thiose lil quick launches off to the right are dynomite in small packages. Like quicktime it dont need to be on . Ah any IM programs if u aint using them shut them off to improve ur systems speed. I will be watching this question in case you have more.
