I have an awesome Panasonic HDTV, but the only true HD channels I receive are via antenna.?

Question:
I have Dish Network's HD package, but those channels are letterboxed instead of full screen. And ESPN HD looks like total crap. Not a clear picture at all. Any guesses as to why?

Answer:
Dish Network's HD channels are not letterboxed. You are not using a HD-compatible output. You have to connect the receiver to the tv via HDMI, DVI, or component video (Y, Pb, Pr).

You also have to have the zoom factor on the receiver set to "Normal." The tv aspect ratio has to be set correctly also (refer to your manual for proper settings ... it's probably "full" that you want).
