I have a HDTV. Now i want to know who you think provides the best overall service, with personal opinions?
Question:
Answer:
I am biased to this question because I am a slave to the Comcast conglomerate. But depending on where you live...Dish may be your best bet. Sorry Comcast...If it's more channels you want then that's what you want to do. But you are gonna pay for it...no matter how much satellite tells you it is cheaper than cable. The HD packages are out of control and there are contracts involved even requirements. With Comcast HD you have the option of the DVR (digital video recorder) in one unit-it's HD capable, similar to TIVO but better. That is about $15.00 a month for the equip. You will need a digital package for the HD programing and that is up to you. But do not forget about On Demand programming. That is something DISH/Satellite can't provide.
comcast. I have an HD myself and I pay 30.00 a month
direct tv
i never had to send compliants
Dish has proved to be a good service. More satellites the Direct tv. Better service and support as well. Not to mention cheaper.

Ha, I made it up. I have it too.
Mine's through cable. I love it, but I have problems with individual channels. CBS is the WORST. Sometimes the lips are off-synch with the sound, and they randomly switch to regular in the middle of the show (not all the time). Oh yeah, and sometimes on NBC (I think- is there anything worth watching on NBC?) it sounds like they're in a huge bathroom. Definitely make sure you get HD for the Discovery channel- it's mesmerizing.
