How can I get internet with just Dish TV?

Unfortunately, you can't. You'll have to get your own satellite internet connection with a separate dish through a separate company--which isn't very cheap. But you can't get internet straight thru Dish TV.
why would you not be able to get cable internet? is it a matter of th elandlord doesn't want cable to the house or just that you don't want to ask? Unless you are in a rural area where there is no cable service, you can have the cable company install cable to your residence. If the only service you want is the interent they can do that. If its Time Warner, COX, or whatever they all run the same basic platform.
